- This blog was started as Avarie's blog to follow her treatment. I have now transformed this blog into our family blog, but would like to keep some of Avarie's info here. Avarie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on October 6, 2008 when she was 4. Her story is on here. She is now healthy and strong and our family continues to grow so here is the rest of our life.

She is just beautiful! I haven't checked in for a while and I was brought to tears to see how far she has come and how amazing she is doing! She is sooo adorable! My daughter also has ALL and is currently in maintenance. It is a long hard road, but these kiddos with cancer are so amazing and never cease to amaze me with their strength and joy through all that they have to go through. Her hair is sooo adorable by the way and I am just so happy that she is doing so beautifully! God bless your beautiful family :)
