- This blog was started as Avarie's blog to follow her treatment. I have now transformed this blog into our family blog, but would like to keep some of Avarie's info here. Avarie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on October 6, 2008 when she was 4. Her story is on here. She is now healthy and strong and our family continues to grow so here is the rest of our life.

She doesn't open them very often, but I will try.
She is awake in those pics though. You can tell because she is fidgeting with her hands, she just doesn't like to open her eyes very often.
You are a strong brave Mom, hang in there and know you are not forgotten.
Thank you Penny. I love hearing from you guys. It is so nice to know that Hartley Park Ward is behind us. We loved that ward, it was hard to move from there because of the ward, we don't miss some of the neighborhoods, but the ward we miss, we made a lot of great friends there. We have been so blessed to always have such great wards and great friends. Please let people in Hartley Park Ward know how much we miss them and are grateful for all of their prayers and support.
Just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you!!
